The offset dimension, measured from the straightedge to the machined surface of the axle plate is 11/32". The camera angle is deceiving; it might look different, but I can assure you the dimension I came up with is 11/32".

Here you can see that the straightedge is parallel to the axle plate and offset to the inside:
